Refund policy
RETURNS
Stark Products: We will allow returns within 30 days of delivery for all stocked rug products or samples. However, we will not accept returns for any custom size rugs unless damaged or defective. We do not refund original shipping charges. All returned items will be inspected for damage or signs of use & may be deemed as non-refundable. If your item was purchased during a shipping promotion, a 10% return shipping charge will be deducted from the original price of your item. Refunds may only be issued in the same form and amount (subject to the terms hereof) as original payment.
In-Stock Products or Products Fabricated & Fulfilled by The Carpet Workroom:
Returns will not be accepted. Each order is custom as we cut each product for your order. We only return / replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@carpetworkroom.com and send your item to: 471 Page St, Unit 4, Stoughton, Massachusetts US 02072.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
TCW Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
TCW Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

TCW Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital gift certificate will be sent to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
CUSTOM SIZE RUG RETURNS
(Stark Products)
Our Custom Sized rugs are made to your specifications and cannot be returned. Special orders begin production immediately upon order placement. As a result, the item(s) cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time.

SALE RUG RETURNS
(Stark Products)
The Carpet Workroom and Stark wants you to be happy with your purchase! Rugs purchased on carpetworkroomshop.com (and are fabricated and fulfilled by Stark / Prestige Mills) can be returned within 30 days of you receiving your purchase. Please note: we do not refund original shipping charges.
All items must be sent back in the original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for arranging equivalent packaging.
OVERSIZED AND FREIGHT RETURNS
(Stark Products)
Return authorization for rugs 9x12 or larger and oversized items that travel via freight can be arranged by contacting info@carpetworkroom.com. Freight returns will be issued a refund less original shipping and handling charges. Return requests will only be accepted within 30 days of the delivery.
To return an item, please follow the steps below:
- Within 30 days of receipt, email the eCommerce team at information@starkcarpet.com or call 844.40.STARK. Include your order details, contact information and reason for the return.
- Carefully repackage the merchandise and write our return address on the outside of your package. Items must be returned in the original or equivalent packaging. We cannot accept returns sent collection on delivery (C.O.D). Please note: original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
- Return the package via UPS or insured parcel post. Please note you are responsible for the safe return of your merchandise.

DAMAGED ITEMS

- When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for a shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please contact us immediately at

- Please provide the order number along with your email address and phone number for expedited service.
- To assure prompt resolution, please retain the shipping box, packing materials and the damaged items for inspection by the carrier.
